613 HD Lace Wig — Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about The Signature 613 — a cold-toned, brass-free 613 HD lace wig made from Grade 2 cuticle-aligned Remy human hair. Questions about the product, the process, wear, care, and ordering.

The Product

What is The Signature 613?

The Signature 613 is NobleTress's single product — a 13×6 Swiss HD lace front wig in a cold-toned, brass-free 613 blonde. It is made from Grade 2 cuticle-aligned Remy human hair, produced in small batches of 100 units per release in our own artisan workshop.

Every unit is individually inspected before dispatch. The standard does not change between batches.

What makes this 613 HD lace wig different from others on the market?

Most 613 wigs are bleached quickly and toned minimally. The result is a wig that looks cool blonde in product photography and turns warm within weeks of regular wear.

The Signature 613 is slow-bleached over multiple sessions to reduce structural damage, then precision-toned to a single verified cool blonde. Zero banding. Zero warm shift on first wash. Every unit is colour-checked before packaging. The hair is also Grade 2 cuticle-aligned Remy — hand-selected for consistent strand weight, which means thick ends that hold their density rather than thinning prematurely.

What is Grade 2 cuticle-aligned Remy human hair?

Remy human hair means all strands run root to tip in the same direction — the cuticles perfectly aligned rather than layered against each other. This is what prevents tangling at a structural level rather than through silicone coating.

Grade 2 indicates the hair has been minimally processed and hand-selected for consistent strand weight and density. The practical result: no premature shedding, no thinning at the ends, and a texture that maintains its quality through repeated washing and heat styling. Not all Remy hair is equal — Grade 2 is a specific quality tier above standard Remy.

What is Swiss HD lace — and does it work on dark skin tones?

Swiss HD lace is the thinnest lace construction available for wigs — approximately 0.03mm thick. Unlike standard transparent lace, which creates a visible mesh line at the hairline regardless of skin tone, Swiss HD lace becomes virtually undetectable against the scalp on all skin tones, including the deepest complexions.

Yes — it works on dark skin. The lace is transparent, not tinted, and adapts optically to the skin beneath it. No additional concealer is required. The Signature 613's naturally translucent blonde knots also require minimal to no bleaching for a seamless result on deeper skin tones.

Do the knots on a 613 HD lace wig need to be bleached?

For The Signature 613, minimal to no knot bleaching is required. The 613 blonde colour means the knots are already naturally light and translucent — significantly less visible than the dark knots on a black or brown wig.

If you prefer fully bleached knots, a light pass of bleach wash is safe. However, we recommend caution — over-bleaching the knots on HD lace can weaken the lace structure. If in doubt, wear it first without bleaching. Most customers find the knots undetectable without any treatment.

What is the difference between 13×4 and 13×6 HD lace?

The numbers describe the dimensions of the lace panel. A 13×4 frontal covers 4 inches back from the hairline. A 13×6 frontal covers 6 inches — providing significantly deeper parting space closer to the crown.

This enables ultra-realistic side parts, deep parts, and crown-level styling that a 13×4 cannot achieve. The Signature 613 uses 13×6 specifically for this flexibility.

What lengths and densities are available?

The Signature 613 is available in five lengths and two density options:

  • 16 inches — falls at the shoulder
  • 18 inches — reaches mid-chest, most versatile
  • 20 inches — falls to the lower chest
  • 22 inches — reaches the waist, most frequently selected
  • 24 inches — full statement length
  • 150% density — natural, refined fullness for everyday wear
  • 180% density — voluminous, high-impact look

All lengths are true-to-length when straightened. Both densities use the same Grade 2 Remy hair and cold-toned 613 colour.

Will this wig shed or tangle?

Shedding: Minimal shedding is normal in any human hair wig — a small number of strands released during brushing or washing is expected and does not indicate a quality problem. Excessive shedding, however, is prevented by the Grade 2 cuticle-aligned construction. Cuticle alignment means strands grip each other naturally rather than pulling apart.

Tangling: Cuticle-aligned Remy hair tangles significantly less than non-aligned or lower-grade hair. To further minimise tangling, detangle before washing (not after), use a wide-tooth comb from ends upward, and store on a wig stand or wrapped in silk or satin.

Wearing & Fit

Is this wig completely glueless?

Yes. The Signature 613 is fully glueless. Four precision-placed, round-edged combs and adjustable elastic straps hold the wig securely without adhesive. No bonding spray, no edge tape, no glue required.

The Swiss HD lace melts naturally against all skin tones without chemical assistance. The seal is created by the ultra-thin lace conforming to the scalp — not by adhesive.

Is The Signature 613 suitable for women experiencing hair loss or alopecia?

Yes. The Signature 613 is well-suited for women experiencing hair loss, alopecia, or thinning hair for several reasons.

No adhesive required. The fully glueless construction means there is no chemical contact with the scalp. No bonding glue, no tape, no edge adhesive — nothing that could further stress or irritate a sensitive scalp or fragile hairline.

Breathable cap. The hand-finished elastic netting allows airflow to the scalp during wear, reducing the discomfort associated with prolonged wig wear on a sensitive scalp.

Undetectable hairline. The 13×6 Swiss HD lace creates the appearance of a natural hairline — including for women whose natural hairline has changed or thinned. No visible lace line, no obvious wig edge.

Secure without tension. Four precision-placed, round-edged combs and adjustable elastic straps hold the wig without pulling on the existing hairline or edges.

Can I sleep in this wig?

We do not recommend sleeping in any human hair wig regularly. Sleeping in a wig accelerates tangling, matting at the nape, and lace stress — all of which shorten the wig's lifespan significantly.

If you need to sleep with the wig on occasionally, wrap it loosely in a silk or satin scarf to reduce friction. Remove and place on a wig stand whenever possible.

Can I exercise or swim in this wig?

Exercise: Light to moderate exercise is fine. The glueless construction holds securely during normal movement. High-intensity activity with significant sweat exposure will, over time, affect both the lace and the hair quality. If you exercise frequently in the wig, increase wash frequency accordingly.

Swimming: We do not recommend swimming in The Signature 613. Chlorinated and salt water are damaging to bleached human hair — the 613 blonde has an open cuticle structure that absorbs chemicals readily, which accelerates colour shift and dryness. If you do swim in it, rinse immediately with fresh water and condition thoroughly.

Does the lace need to be tinted for darker skin tones?

Swiss HD lace does not typically require tinting on any skin tone — it is transparent rather than a fixed colour, so it adapts optically to the skin beneath it. This is the primary advantage of HD lace over standard transparent lace.

Some customers with very deep skin tones choose to apply a light foundation or lace tint spray for additional blending in photography or strong lighting. This is optional, not required for everyday wear.

What cap size is The Signature 613?

The Signature 613 ships in an average cap (55–56cm circumference) by default. The adjustable elastic straps accommodate a range of approximately 21.5"–23.5" (55–60cm). See our Wig Size Guide for full measuring instructions and sizing chart.

How do I install a glueless HD lace wig?

For best results with The Signature 613:

  • Lay your natural hair flat — braided, flat-twisted, or in cornrows if longer
  • Use a wig grip band or dome cap for additional security if preferred
  • Position the wig at your natural hairline and secure the front comb first, then side and back combs
  • Adjust the elastic straps to your fit — snug but not tight
  • Press the lace gently against the skin from the centre part outward
  • Style and part as desired — no adhesive needed

Colour & Styling

Will the 613 colour go brassy over time?

All bleached human hair shifts slightly over time with washing and heat. The Signature 613 is slow-processed and precision-toned to minimise initial brassiness — but long-term maintenance requires an active toning routine.

  • Wash with a purple or blue-toned shampoo at every session
  • Apply an ash or violet toner every 4–6 weeks as needed
  • Avoid warm-toned styling and conditioning products
  • Always apply heat protectant before any heat tool
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure

What products should I use — and avoid — on this wig?

Use:

  • Sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo — purple or blue-toned preferred for 613 blonde
  • Moisturising conditioner (mid-shaft to ends only, avoid lace and roots)
  • Lightweight leave-in conditioner or hair oil for shine and moisture retention
  • Heat protectant spray before any heat styling
  • Ash or violet toner every 4–6 weeks to maintain cool tone

Avoid:

  • Sulfate-containing shampoos — strip colour and moisture from bleached hair
  • Warm-toned or golden conditioning products — accelerate brassiness
  • Heavy oils directly on the lace — breaks down the lace structure over time
  • Alcohol-based styling products — drying on bleached hair
  • Dry shampoo directly on the lace — causes buildup and lace degradation

Can I colour or tone this wig?

Yes. The Signature 613 accepts darker colour, highlights, and toning. The hair responds to colour in the same way as natural human hair.

Do not bleach further. The hair has already been processed to its lightest sustainable point. Additional bleaching will compromise the hair's structural integrity and shorten its lifespan. A professional colourist is strongly recommended for any colour work.

Can I use heat tools on this wig?

Yes. The Signature 613 is heat-ready. Always apply a heat protectant before any heat styling tool.

  • Maximum temperature: 180°C / 356°F
  • Recommended temperature: 150°C / 302°F to preserve the cold tone and extend longevity

Avoid directing high heat directly onto the HD lace at the hairline — the ultra-thin construction can be damaged by sustained direct heat.

Care & Longevity

How long will The Signature 613 last?

With proper care, The Signature 613 can last 12–24 months.

  • Daily wear with consistent maintenance: approximately 12 months
  • Occasional wear with proper storage: up to 24 months

The primary factors that shorten wig lifespan are excessive heat, infrequent conditioning, sleeping in the wig, and improper storage.

How do I wash a 613 HD lace wig?

Wash every 7–10 wears. Use lukewarm water and a sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo — a purple or blue-toned shampoo is ideal for 613 blonde to neutralise emerging warmth during the wash cycle.

Work shampoo gently downward in the direction of the hair. Never rub or scrub. Rinse thoroughly. Apply a moisturising conditioner from mid-shaft to ends, avoiding the lace and roots. Finish with a cool water rinse to seal the cuticle and preserve the cool tone.

Gently pat dry with a microfibre towel — never rub. Air dry on a wig stand before storing or restyling.

How do I care for the HD lace specifically?

  • Remove adhesive residue or buildup using a lace-safe solvent or micellar water on a cotton pad — never pull or scrub
  • Avoid soaking the lace in water for extended periods
  • Do not apply heavy oils or dry shampoo directly to the lace
  • Do not direct high heat from a hairdryer or flat iron onto the lace area
  • Store flat or on a wig stand — never fold the wig at the lace line

How do I store this wig correctly?

Store on a wig stand or mannequin head to maintain shape and prevent tangling. If storing flat, wrap loosely in a silk or satin scarf or bag. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity. Do not compress under weight or fold at the lace line.

Shipping & Orders

How quickly do you ship, and which carriers do you use?

In-stock units ship next business day via DHL or FedEx International Priority. Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days depending on destination. Every shipment is fully insured with tracking provided at dispatch.

Do you ship internationally? Are there customs or import duties?

Yes, we ship internationally. NobleTress ships to most countries via DHL or FedEx International Priority.

Import duties and customs taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by country. We recommend checking your country's import regulations for personal goods before ordering. We are not able to mark shipments as gifts or alter declared values.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the wig has not been coloured, cut, or altered in any way that affects resale. The lace must be intact and uncut. Original packaging is required.

To initiate a return, contact support@nobletress.com before shipping the item back. Items returned without prior contact will not be accepted.

Why is each release limited to 100 units?

NobleTress produces in small batches to maintain quality control over every strand, every shade, and every piece of lace. When we produce 100 units, we can inspect each one individually — something that is not possible at mass-production scale.

When a release sells out, it is closed. A new batch begins only when we can guarantee every unit meets the same requirements as the last.

How do I know when new stock is available?

New release notifications go to our email list first — before any public announcement. Subscribe at the bottom of any page on nobletress.com to be notified first.
